Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 11th June 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the participation of individuals (“you”, “your”, “volunteer”, or “fundraiser”) who engage in fundraising activities or volunteer work through or in connection with Project 2035, operated by the Francis Mora Humanitarian Foundation (“FMHF”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By registering, volunteering, or fundraising through our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To participate as a volunteer or fundraiser, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have written parental/guardian consent if under 18.
  • Agree to comply with all applicable laws and FMHF’s ethical standards.
  • Submit accurate and complete information during registration.

FMHF reserves the right to accept or reject any applicant at its sole discretion.

2. Volunteer Conduct

Volunteers are expected to:

  • Act respectfully and professionally at all times.
  • Represent FMHF’s mission and values with integrity.
  • Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or any conduct that could harm others.
  • Not misrepresent their relationship with FMHF or speak on behalf of the organization without written authorization.

3. Fundraising Activities

Approved fundraisers agree to:

  • Use only authorized FMHF materials, logos, and branding for fundraising events.
  • Submit truthful and transparent information about the purpose and use of funds.
  • Remit all donations collected to FMHF in a timely and traceable manner.
  • Avoid misleading claims or tactics when soliciting donations.

FMHF must pre-approve any public fundraising campaigns, including digital or in-person events using the Foundation’s name or likeness.

4. Use of Funds

All funds raised on behalf of FMHF through Project 2035 must be used solely to support the Foundation’s humanitarian programs, as publicly stated or communicated during the fundraising effort. Misuse of funds may result in legal action.

5. Confidentiality

Volunteers and fundraisers may have access to sensitive information. You agree to:

  • Keep all non-public information about FMHF, beneficiaries, donors, and partners confidential.
  • Not disclose or use this information for personal gain or outside purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

All FMHF materials—including but not limited to logos, program content, photographs, and website assets—remain the property of FMHF and may not be reproduced or used without prior written consent.

7. Liability and Insurance

FMHF is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss incurred during volunteer or fundraising activities unless caused by its gross negligence. Volunteers and fundraisers are encouraged to carry appropriate personal insurance where applicable.

8. Termination

FMHF reserves the right to terminate your participation as a volunteer or fundraiser at any time, with or without cause, particularly if you:

  • Violate these Terms, or
  • Engage in misconduct or activities that damage FMHF’s reputation.

 

9. Use of Image and Testimonials

By participating in FMHF activities, you grant permission for FMHF to use your name, voice, image, and statements (written or spoken) in promotional materials, unless you notify us in writing that you wish to opt out.

10. Legal Compliance

All fundraising and volunteer efforts must comply with local, state, and international laws and regulations, including financial reporting and tax requirements.

11. Changes to These Terms

FMHF may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Project 2035 website. Continued involvement after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
